Keynote Speakers:

 

Nazira Moosa

🔹 Industry Pioneer & Empowerment Advocate
Nazira started her career in the commercial space in the Oil and Gas Industry in South Africa. She was the first woman to participate in the downstream sector of the Petroleum Industry. Her career catapulted from this point, where she was responsible for many B2G supplies of Mogas and diesel to the rest of Africa. The pinnacle of her career is the Empowerment Programme that she ran for BP post the apartheid era in South Africa. currently, she runs ad hoc projects and coaches and mentors women within the corporate sector. Nazira has three adult children and is a grandmother to two beautiful cats. She currently lives in Bangalore, India pursuing her DBA on the progression of women Engineers in the oil and Gas Sector.

 

Barbara Jinks

🔹 Director, Ready4H2 & Clean Energy Advocate
Barbara has worked in most parts of the gas supply chain for nearly 40 years in many countries – originally with natural gas and for the last 15 years with renewable hydrogen and biomethane. Barbara is currently the Director of Ready4H2, an initiative that coordinates distribution network operators throughout Europe to raise awareness of the role of gas networks in providing clean energy to our cities and regions.

Originally Scottish, Barbara lives in Germany, has two sons, and cannot believe she is now a granny!

Barbara attributes part of her resilience in having had a wonderful time (in a male-dominated industry) to keeping a sense of humor, playing the fiddle, staying fit, looking after friendships and not staying for too long in undesirable workplaces.
